Meet The Galioto's

The Georgetown Centre’s history is deep with tradition and family values. It was built in 1990 by Les George Jr. for the purpose of hosting large weddings and special events. Since then, the facility and team have created lasting memories through offering fine cuisine and a beautiful facility.

In 2022, Mr. George sold the establishment to Gabe and Karen Galioto, who are lifelong residents of Pleasant Hills and graduates of Thomas Jefferson High School. In assuming the Georgetown Centre’s operations, it was extremely important to uphold the integrity of the operation and the classy ambiance of the facility. The entire staff remained through the transition including Rodney Hammons, the company’s longtime Executive Chef, and Jessica Grimm, its tenured General Manager. Renovations were completed immediately to support the next generation of the community looking for a place to gather with friends and family and enjoy fine food.

As new owners in the community, Gabe and Karen will continue to trust their faith, maintain a beautiful event atmosphere, and continue an extreme focus on The Customer. The Georgetown Centre is artfully unique and would not succeed without the dedication of its employees, high quality and memorable food, and the eye-opening architectural masterpiece that was created.

Gabe and Karen are fully invested in the business and will lead the company’s future growth. As a graduate of John Carroll University with an MBA from Robert Morris, Gabe completed a successful 25- year banking career before entering into the new venture. Karen, a graduate of Purdue University, was a Human Resources Manager and Homemaker for their children prior to the acquisition. They continue to reside in Pleasant Hills with their children Natalie and Gabriel.
